The Garden’s Last Breath

Posted on October 19, 2025April 15, 2026 by Melissa

With temperatures forecasted to dip into the mid-30sF this week, I’m in Harvest Mode to gather anything left in the garden that can’t withstand a nip of frost. I’m also thoroughly enjoying the glorious colors as we shift into the cooler months, soaking them deeply into my memory before the world goes brown and grey.

Autumn is, truly, my favorite season.

Maybe… just maybe we’ll squeeze another week or two out of the growing season, but one never knows here in the high desert. Best to enjoy each moment as it greets us ๐Ÿ™‚

Onward,

Melissa

Glorious colors indeed!! Such pretty photos. I am sure you will be able to extend the growing season a bit longer.
