My Heart is in my Throat but…

Posted on March 15, 2025April 15, 2026 by Melissa

It’s LIVE!

After several days of navigating the back end of my family history blog, Bold + Queer, on Squarespace, importing it all to WordPress, and dusting it off a bit, it’s LIVE!

As a Gen X-er, I’m slightly behind the tech curve, though I do try. That being said, the stress this all created was unimagined and quite challenging…

It all elevated my heart into my throat and my hands shook as I clicked all the buttons and trusted the website Goddesses to be kind.

And outside of a few small hiccups, kind they were.

It’s all a test, you know?

Alas, please pop over and give her a once over, if you will. The shop isn’t up yet, but everything else is.

Full disclosure: The theme is *very similar to this one for now. I’ll switch it up at some point in the future, but for now I was most worried about the blog posts transferring correctly.

Whew!

Thanks for cheering me on!

xoxo,

Melissa
